The Neko Rig is a newer refined technique that can be used with a wide variety of soft plastic baits. The idea is basically to have the hook on the top of the bait, and the weight either in the nose or below the nose. In the instance that you use a soft plastic swimbait the bait will have much more action than if you used a huge hook. With other baits like shrimp baits and craw baits, you can fish the bait on the bottom with a very natural presentation. Its a finesse technique that you have never seen before, but I highly suggest trying a vareity of baits to see what works best for you.
